  • WHAT IS COVERED: Instant protection against accidental damage and operational failures due to mechanical or technical defects not covered by the statutory warranty or manufacturer's warranty. Exclusions: not insured include theft, loss, cosmetic damage, intentional or malicious damage, lack of care, improper handling, accessories not included with the product, viruses, software problems or product content.
  • DAMAGE CASES: You don't have to pay a deductible. If your product cannot be repaired after an accepted claim, it will either be replaced or you will receive an Amazon e-voucher worth a replacement product. After the replacement or billing of the e-voucher, your insurance will end. 98% of all claims are accepted (average between April 2023 and February 2024).
  • LIMITATIONS: Insured is a single product purchased through Amazon as new (with a legal warranty of 2 years) or refurbished by Amazon. If you are unable to present the insured product for review when reporting damage, it is considered lost and is not insured. We perform a maximum of 3 repairs within 12 months. The insurance cover applies to people residing in Germany or Austria who are 18 years or older.
